April 4th, 2011 Transfer from Flagstaff
Excerpt from Brittany's letter
" I am leaving Flagstaff and going to Farmington. When i found out I was super sad, and I am getting used to the idea, but feel like my heart is being ripped out, I just love these people and want to stay and continue to teach and help them. But a new adventure: new things to learn, new people to meet, and more amazing peoples lives to touch and be touched by.
This last week in Flagstaff was a great one to leave on though so I can't complain. We set 2 baptismal dates :) and met some amazing new people to teach. This girl Ampraro came to church last Sunday and she felt the spirit so strong she wanted to learn more. We had a great lesson with her! she comes from an atheist background, but knows that God is there and wants to much to learn more! when we were teaching the lesson, we asked her if she understood something, and she said, " he's name is Jesus, right?" it stopped me in my tracks, wow I take so much for granted to know about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and what he has done for me.
Also we finally were able to sit down with this Chinese girl who comes to church every week because her mom told her to go to a christian church so she can be happy, she says it has."
